Clerodendrum trichotomum ‘Carnival’

Beautiful small, umbrella-shaped, tree or large shrub to 10’; deciduous green leaves emarginated with a broad band of cream make it worthy of a spot in the garden!  Add very fragrant tubular clusters of white flowers in late summer followed by scarlet calyx enclosing turquoise berries and you can forgive its tendency to sucker…average soil, sun to part sun and regular moisture.
