Rosettes of glossy foliage heavily veined in burgundy in spring makes this perennial from Japan worth growing! At about 4 years, 4'-6’ stems shoot up topped with lightly fragrant, green tinged white lily flowers after which the parent dies but not until it offsets pups which begin the cycle again. Said to be more heat and cold tolerant that others in this genus. Well drained, moist, organic soil, AM sun to bright shade.
