Calochortus tolmiei

(Tolmie Mariposa Lily) This beautiful western native is a bulbous perennial found from Washington to California.  Stems to 8-10” are topped mid spring to summer with multiple tri-petaled, bell shaped, lavender-white flowers covered in ‘fur’ with deep purple centers. Establish & abandon in a sunny location; prefers sandy/loam soils; plants are dormant by summer.
