A Muscari close relation with spikes of grape purple in April>May, 7-8” tall and a slowish naturalizer in light shade under deciduous trees and shrubs.  Lightly fragrant. Heirloom dating back to 1884!  Deer and critter resistant…average soil, gets by woth no irrigation where springs are wet; plants dormant by summer.
