Astrantia major ‘Sparkling Stars Red‘

Tidy dark green leafy mounds are the stage for 2’ upright stems with clusters of pin cushion flowers made up of sparkling, dark red to reddish-purple florets May to July.  Protect from hot PM sun, keep moist (takes wet), organic soil.  Nice cut flower, attracts pollinators.
