(GOAT’S BEARD) Long lived perennial, clumper with large, bold leaves that are showy & sculptural. 4-6’ stems in late spring are decorated with frothy ivory plumes that resemble astilbe on steroids. A real standout for the woodland garden, stunning waterside or back of the border. Part shade to full shade...enjoys humusy rich soils but tolerates most soils; some takes some drought when established.
