Arisaema fargesii

Easy to grow species from China with glossy, trifoliate leaves topped by 18” stalks with burgundy-purple hoods with contrasty white striping, terminating with a dramatic red thread curving down from the top of the hood! Bold and exotic in part shade, decently drained soil that is moist during the growing season.  Shipped as a bareroot tuber during dormancy and as a potted plant during active growth period.
