Acanthus mollis ‘Hollard’s Gold’

Big, glossy, golden leaves emerge forming 30’’ tall expanding clumps, fading slowly to lemon-lime; erect, architectural, creamy flower spikes like Ionic column decorations above foliage in early summer.  One of our highest recommendations for dry shade (AM sun to full shade) even under rooty trees and shrubs. Site carefully.. this is a forever plant! May go dormant in dry, hot summers.
