Sedum x rubrotinctum
Grandma had these right next to the cobweb leeks and the hens n chicks! Low growers and cascaders, these smallish sedums (6-12″) have fat little ‘bean’ shaped leaves. They have holiday colors of red, yellow and green in varying degrees. Ours have seen 20 degrees or less in exposed pots with no damage. Plant in well drained soil…pots, rock gardens, wall niches, troughs…. place out in full sun and don’t overwater. We were surprised they sailed thru winters here in the great PNW! Fun plants..kids love them (not edible!).
