(OXBLOOD LILY) Coinciding with the first rains of autumn, amaryllis-like flowers of deep, rich, blood red appear over narrow deep green leaves; foliage lasts thru winter and goes dormant in spring to re-emerge again summer to fall to repeat that process. 6-12” tall and will offset to make clumps. Long lived bulbs can go on to 100 years! Drought tolerant, deer resistant, enjoys the heat and humidity of the south. Also grows in pots, sun to part shade, average soil, needs moisture during growth and bloom.
