Iris unguicularis ‘Mary Barnard’

Give these babies a chance to get established and they can be free flowering and long blooming from November to March! Evergreen thin leaves are upright in tight clumps. This selection has shorter leaves and a more tidy appearance than the species. Flowers are deep violet and lavender…one blossom will fill a room with fragrance! Pretty much thrives on neglect…poor soils, drought tolerant, deer and critter resistant. USDA Z7
