Echinacea ‘Tomato Soup’
When I first saw this plant I had to touch it tosee if it was real! Probably one of theBEST of the genus, this tough perennial forms 2’ wide clumps from which sturdy, upright, no staking required branched stems are topped with BIG tomato redflowers 5”across from late spring to late summer (and sporadically infall). Goldfinches enjoy seeds, hummersadore the flowers! Full sun, most soils.Moist to dryish. Great cut and dried.
