Cornus stolonifera ‘Arctic Fire’ ™

(AKA ‘FARROW’ PP18523) A dwarf selection of Cornus ‘Baileyi’ with deep, dark red winter stems to only 3-5’ tall (versus 8-10’) and seems to lack the aggressive stoloniferous habit of its parent so a slowly expanding clump. White flat topped clusters of spring flowers evolve to silvery/blue black fruits attractive to birds in summer. Stems deepen in color in winter on this deciduous shrub that enjoys medium water to wet soils (clay is ok), sun; deer resistant; winter stems gorgeous in arrangements. USDA Z3-8 4″ pot
